Ceramic inserts make mosaics interesting. Mosaic inserts can be used as focal points and to create texture and depth in your work.

We design our ceramic items specifically for mosaics and they work especially well with glazed ceramic tiles (4-5mm thickness).

When planning your projects, first choose you ceramic inserts and then match the colours of your background tiles to it .

You will get better depth by choosing your tiles in related colours rather than choosing the exact same colour as your inserts.
